A local print shop owner went above and beyond to help a man struggling to print a photo of his late mother. The process, which was initially said to take three days, was completed in 30 minutes, PEOPLE reported.

Jesse Robertson, who lives in Minneapolis, flew to California every month for the last year and a half to be by his mother Donna's side. During one of those visits, he noticed a digital photo frame on a kitchen counter. There was a picture of Donna, smiling and holding balloons in a room she called "Grandma Attic." He looked at it and thought, "This is exactly how I want to remember my mom."

After Donna died, Mr Robertson helped his father navigate through the loss of their loved one. But he remembered he had to get that one photograph printed.

Mr Robertson went to a print shop to get his late mother's photo printed before boarding a flight the next morning. Due to the backlog, the owner, Christian, told him the photo would be ready in three days. "My heart sank," said Mr Robertson.

He said he tried to control his emotions, but the tears fell. He hid behind a display so the store owner wouldn't see him, but then he heard his name being called. "I still remember the look on his [owner's] face - it just seemed like he cared so much, and I hadn't even said a word yet," he said.

When the owner asked why he was crying, he said he wanted to print a photo of his mother before his flight. Mr Christian hugged him and said he would do it. They stopped all their work and not only printed his photo but also made two extra copies, one for his sister and another for his father, said Mr Robertson.

He added, "What was supposed to take three days became 30 minutes. He further said, "I was able to frame it right there on his counter. And when I came home the following morning, I set that frame in my living room, where I see it every day - and think of her."
