Veeramani POCSO Case: Rs 90 Crore Money Trail, Closure Report Under Probe

The Veeramani POCSO case has opened a fresh investigative and political storm in Tamil Nadu. A new probe is examining why the original investigation was not pursued, the circumstances surrounding the closure report and allegations that money may have been used to influence the handling of the case. Investigators are also scrutinising a ₹90 crore property transaction and alleged payments involving police personnel, parents and others. Meanwhile, the DMK and TVK-led government have traded charges over the handling of the case.
