IIT Bombay Student On Sahil Death: "Caste Angle Is Not The Case At All"
IIT Bombay students have rejected allegations of caste discrimination in connection with the death of student Sahil Wakode, saying, “Caste angle is not the case at all.” One of the student said there is no discrimination at the institute and that students’ concerns should instead focus on reforms in student welfare and mental health support. Sahil’s family has alleged caste-based harassment, while the Crime Branch continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death.
