Election Commission Row: Questions Over Form 6 Changes, Voter Data And IT Oversight

The Election Commission is facing fresh questions over changes made to Form 6 and other aspects of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process. According to the report discussed in the transcript, Election Commissioners Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi raised objections to changes involving parents’ SIR details, electoral roll data, software modules and IT oversight. The two commissioners are also reported to have flagged concerns on multiple occasions over the past 10 months, while the ECI maintains that decisions in the SIR process were taken with the consent of all three commissioners and that there were no formal dissents.
