UN Renews Call For Israel-Palestine Two-State Solution: What Does It Mean?

Seen by much of the world as the only path to ending the Israel-Palestine conflict, the two-state solution has long had the backing of the United Nations. First proposed in the 1993 Oslo Accords, it was accepted by both sides but was never implemented due to disputes over Jerusalem, final borders, Israeli settlements in Gaza and the West Bank, and the rehabilitation of refugees.
