Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif claimed victory in the conflict with India. India’s response at the UN was blistering: damaged airbases, burnt-out hangars, terror camps and an allegation that Pakistan’s military had sought a cessation of fighting. India also warned there would be no distinction between terrorists and their sponsors and rejected what it called “nuclear blackmail.”
