TMC In Turmoil: Partha Chatterjee Blames Mamata, Abhishek For Party’s Decline
In a major embarrassment for the Trinamool Congress, former Bengal minister and senior TMC leader Partha Chatterjee has launched a scathing attack on Mamata Banerjee and Abhishek Banerjee in an exclusive interview with NDTV. Chatterjee accused the party leadership of losing touch with the masses, overlooking corruption, and failing to understand public sentiment. He also blamed political consultancy firm IPAC for weakening the party organisation and damaging TMC’s image. The former minister, arrested in the teacher recruitment scam and now out on bail, said the party “must start from scratch” and claimed he was politically targeted by his own party.
