Sitarganj Flooded: National Highway Submerged, Shops Underwater As Torrential Rains Lash Uttarakhand

Following heavy rainfall and multiple cloudbursts across Uttarakhand, the Indian Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for Dehradun and Uttarkashi, and an orange alert for other districts. In Sitarganj, located 312 km from Delhi, relentless rains have caused severe flooding. NDTV reports that the National Highway is submerged, roads are inundated, and local shops are underwater, making daily commuting nearly impossible for residents.
