Dehradun-Mussoorie Road Severed By Floods, Repair On War Footing

Connectivity between Dehradun and Mussoorie remains severely disrupted after a key bridge collapsed due to heavy rainfall and flash floods. This was the only motorable bridge linking the two areas. Hundreds of tourists and their vehicles are stranded on the Mussoorie side, causing massive traffic congestion. Public Works Department (PWD) officials and workers are now working on a war footing to erect an iron bridge as a temporary solution. Authorities hope to restore vehicular movement soon to ease the growing chaos and inconvenience.
