Chamoli Cloudburst Triggers Destruction: 6 Houses Buried, 10 Feared Missing
A severe cloudburst struck the Nanda Nagar Ghat area of Chamoli, Uttarakhand, on Wednesday night, burying six houses under debris. Authorities have reported that around 10 people are currently missing, while two individuals have been rescued so far. The district magistrate has confirmed that relief and rescue operations are ongoing. Meanwhile, in Mussoorie, approximately 2,500 tourists were left stranded after the Dehradun-Mussoorie road was rendered impassable due to weather-related damage.
