Cloudbursts and heavy rainfall have wreaked havoc in Uttarakhand's capital Dehradun, and several other parts of the state, as swollen rivers washed away buildings, roads, and bridges, bringing life to a standstill for both locals and tourists. Nearly 2,500 tourists remain stranded as the Dehradun-Mussoorie road stays shut for the second consecutive day due to landslides and rain-triggered damage.
