The Punjab and Haryana High Court asks the centre to respond to a PIL saying that all convicted MPs and MLAs must be barred from contesting elections. This should include those who are imprisoned for less than 2 years as well. This could be a big move to clean up Indian politics. However the big question remains that will the politicians ever bring in a law against themselves?
