Delhi Murder Shock: UPSC Aspirant Found Dead, Ex-Help Arrested
A 22-year-old engineering graduate and UPSC aspirant was found murdered at her residence in East of Kailash, southeast Delhi. Police say she was allegedly sexually assaulted and strangled with a charging cable. The accused, a 19-year-old former domestic help who had recently been dismissed from the household, was later arrested from a hotel in Dwarka. Investigations further suggest that just hours before arriving in Delhi, he may have committed a separate sexual assault in Alwar, Rajasthan, with a survivor now coming forward. Police are probing whether the accused had a pattern of violent behaviour or targeted victims following personal resentment after losing employment.
