Nine years ago NDTV and Dettol came together to launch a campaign on health, hygiene, and sanitation with Amitabh Bachchan as the Ambassador. Banega Swasth India has now become one of the longest-running public health campaigns. To mark the momentous occasion of the completion of 9 years, Campaign Ambassador Mr Bachchan was joined by Health Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya and Padma Awardees and eminent doctors: Dr Indira Chakravarty - Public Health Specialist, Dr Nageshwar Reddy - Gastroenterologist, Dr Neelam Kler - Neonatologist, Dr Ravi Kannan - Oncologist, Dr Praveen Chandra - Interventional Cardiologist, Dr Veeraswamy Seshiah, Diabetologist and Dr Dhananjay Diwakar Sagdeo - Hematologist.
