Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev became emotional while recalling the devastating flash floods near the Tibet-Nepal border that left members of an Isha Foundation Kailash pilgrimage group missing. Speaking about the tragedy, Sadhguru described how the group had reached the immigration centre in Gyirong at 9:05 am, just minutes before the disaster struck. Sadhguru recalled initially believing the flood might only damage the immigration centre and the pilgrims’ belongings. But after seeing images showing the enormous scale of the flood and debris, he realised the situation was far more devastating. He also spoke about the unprecedented nature of the disaster and warned that the wider causes and risks linked to Himalayan disasters require attention beyond Nepal alone.
