Sabarimala Protests: Vote Bank Trumps Principles?
In the past 24 hours, one person has been killed and many injured in clashes in Kerala. Between BJP, the right wing, vs the Left and vs the police, over the entry of women into the Sabarimala temple. One of the uglier aspects of the violence and the turmoil that has engulfed Kerala is that it has exposed the clear double standards of at least two of our national parties and possibly, opportunism, by a third.
