Right-wing political commentator T G Mohandas was taken into custody from his residence in Mattancherry, Kochi, over remarks he allegedly made in a YouTube video concerning a student protest in New Delhi linked to the NEET paper leak. Police said they collected information about his YouTube account and digital devices as part of the investigation. The BJP has criticised the action as “discriminatory” and accused the Kerala government of attempting to divert attention from other issues.
