Russia Ukraine War | 44 Indians In Russian Army, MEA Urges Moscow To Release Them

India has once again urged Moscow to release Indian nationals serving in the Russian Army after the number rose to 44. The Ministry of External Affairs confirmed that several Indians were recruited in recent months, some reportedly forced into joining military units deployed in Ukraine. While 96 Indians have been discharged and 16 are missing, at least 12 have died on the frontlines. India continues to appeal to Russia to end this recruitment and has warned citizens against such dangerous offers.
