A fresh political row has erupted in Karnataka after Chief Minister Siddaramaiah backed Congress leader Priyank Kharge's remarks cautioning people to stay away from Sanatanis and right-wing groups like the RSS. In response, the RSS has hit out sharply, accusing the Congress of being "habitual critics" and speaking "venom" against the organization instead of trying to understand its ideology. The remarks have further intensified the political war of words between the ruling Congress and the Sangh in Karnataka.
