RBI Accused Of Not Revealing Names Of Big Loan Defaulters

The heat has intensified on the RBI and the PMO for covering up the names of big loan defaulters. Central Information Commission, in a hard-hitting 47-page order, has issued notices to RBI and PMO asking why they should not face action for not making the details of defaulters public. We speak to MS Acharyulu, the commissioner who wrote that order, who says that while defaulters are fleeing the country, it is surprising that RBI doesn't even want to make their names public.
