Heavy rainfall overnight into Friday drenched tent camps in Central Gaza’s Deir Al-Balah as winter storm Byron continues to devastate the war-battered enclave. Families spent the night trying to save their little possessions that were soaked inside their tents as rainwater pooled on the ground. “The rain has been pouring all night. It has not stopped, and the tent is flooded and all the furniture is now ruined,” said Khalil Ayef, a displaced father from Jabaliya.
