Protests In Ankara, Istanbul Against US Actions In Venezuela
Following massive U.S. strikes on Venezuela, hundreds of people staged anti-U.S. protests in Ankara and Istanbul. Demonstrators carried posters reading “Hands Off Venezuela” and “Yankees Go Home,” chanted slogans against U.S. imperialism, and marched with Venezuelan flags. Protesters also condemned U.S. President Donald Trump’s remarks that the United States would “run Venezuela,” as well as the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro.
