Archive footage published by Iranian media on August 24 shows Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, in his earlier role as an Islamic jurisprudence scholar, overseeing and evaluating a student's research before assuming the country's top post following the death of his father, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
