Protest against job quota turns violent in Allahabad, students attack over 50 cars

Students in Allahabad went on a rampage today after their protests against the proposed reservation in the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) turned violent. A mob of more than 1,000 aspirants vandalised shops and over 50 vehicles in the civil lines area of the city.
