Karnataka Shakti Scheme Bags 2 World Records, Sparks Row
Karnataka Chief Minister has announced that the state's 'Shakti Scheme'-which has facilitated over 564 crore free bus rides for women-has bagged two world records from the London Book of World Records. The recognition also includes KSRTC for being the most award-winning transport corporation with 464 honours since 1997. However, the achievement has sparked a political row, with BJP MLC CT Ravi dismissing the certification as "as fake as the Congress government itself."
