West Bengal NEET Protest | Political Row Erupts Over Suvendu Adhikari's 'Friday' Remark

A political controversy has erupted in West Bengal after Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari linked the recent violence during a NEET protest in Kolkata to "Islamic fundamentalists" and referred to "Friday" while commenting on the unrest. Adhikari said those responsible for the violence had been identified and alleged that foreign forces may have supported the attackers. The All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) has strongly criticised the remarks, accusing him of targeting a particular community and giving the issue a communal colour, triggering a fresh political row in the state.
