Bengaluru News | Bengaluru Police SI Arrested In Dowry And Domestic Abuse Case
A Bengaluru Police sub-inspector, Byrappa, attached to the City Police Commissioner's Office, has been arrested on charges of dowry harassment, domestic abuse, criminal intimidation, and assault. The action came after his wife, an advocate, approached the Director General of Police, alleging that an earlier complaint at Kengeri Police Station was not registered as an FIR and was instead treated as a non-cognizable report. She also claimed the officer was initially shielded by his batchmates.
