2,873 Criminals At CJP Protest, Claims Delhi Police The Delhi Police has claimed that 2,873 people with criminal records infiltrated the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP)-led student protest at Jantar Mantar and the subsequent "Sansad Chalo" march on July 20. According to the police, CCTV analysis identified individuals accused in serious offences, including murder, attempted murder, rape, dacoity, robbery, Arms Act violations and NDPS Act cases. The police has argued that these alleged infiltrators contributed to the violence during the protest.
