Heavy monsoon rains have once again disrupted normal life across Delhi and the National Capital Region, causing widespread waterlogging, traffic congestion and delays in several areas. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned that intense spells of rain are likely to continue through the day, raising the risk of localised flooding in low-lying areas. Civic agencies remain on high alert, while residents have been advised to avoid unnecessary travel and waterlogged stretches as the capital braces for more rain.
