Assam Elections: CM Himanta Says NDA Will Win 90-100 Seats, Badruddin Ajmal Targets Himanta Sarma

In an interesting development, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has given out his predictions on the number of seats each political party would get. The Chief Minister has claimed that the ruling NDA will win 90-100 seats in the upcoming assembly polls out of the total 126 seats. AIUDF Chief Maulana Badruddin Ajmal, speaking to NDTV’s Ratnadip Choudhury, launched a sharp attack on Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, saying “enough is enough.” Ajmal also threw his weight behind Asaduddin Owaisi, vowing to campaign extensively and claiming their alliance could win up to 25 seats.
