Assam Remembers Music Legend Zubeen Garg On His 1st Death Anniversary
Assam is marking one year since the death of music icon Zubeen Garg, with thousands turning up at a memorial as part of a three-day Zubeen Utsav. Several events are being held across the state to mark his first death anniversary. Speaking to NDTV, Zubeen’s wife Garima said people have come with love and respect to carry forward his philosophy. She said the family is awaiting the court trial and wants to know exactly what happened to Zubeen in Singapore, adding that they will keep asking for him.
