In an interview to NDTV, Air Chief Marshal RK Singh Bhadauria has said the Indian Air Force was aware of enhanced Chinese helicopter activity in the Ladakh region along a contested part of the Line of Actual Control where Indian and Chinese soldiers are involved in a face-off in the Galwan region. He also said that the Pakistani Air Force had activated some of their defences after the Handwara encounter in which a Colonel and a Major were killed in action in an encounter with terrorists perhaps jittery of an Indian retaliation.
