Telangana Hospital Fire: 2 Infants Dead, 28 Evacuated

Two infants have died after a fire broke out inside the Special Newborn Care Unit at RIMS Hospital in Adilabad, Telangana. Twenty-eight children were reportedly evacuated safely after the blaze erupted inside the unit. An electrical short circuit involving an air conditioner is suspected to have triggered the fire, although the exact cause has not yet been officially established. A fire tender brought the blaze under control, while police have registered a case and begun an investigation. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has expressed condolences to the families of the infants.
