Rajiv Kumar, secretary general at FICCI, believes the dip in April-June GDP numbers signals the beginning of a slowdown. Gaurav Kapur, senior economist at RBS, says the numbers are in line with what the RBI has projected and expects the RBI to maintain a hawkish stance. India's economy grew 7.7 per cent in the three months through June, its weakest in six quarters.
