Bharti Airtel, India's biggest mobile carrier, reported lower than expected net profit for the three months to December on account of losses in the Africa operations and foreign exchange hit. Bharti Airtel's profit has now fallen for 12 straight quarters. The management, however, remained optimistic and said that the worst seems to be over.
