Philippines Earthquake | Massive Earthquake Hits The Philippines, Buildings Reduced To Rubble

A powerful 7.8-magnitude earthquake struck off the southern Philippine island of Mindanao, causing widespread destruction and panic across the region. Several buildings, including schools and commercial establishments, were damaged or collapsed as strong tremors shook the affected areas. Rescue teams have been deployed to conduct search and rescue operations, while authorities continue assessing the extent of the damage. According to the Philippines’ civil defense office, at least eight people have lost their lives in the disaster. Affected zones have been cordoned off as emergency responders work to locate survivors and ensure public safety. Meanwhile, aftershocks continue to be felt across the region, raising concerns about further damage and disruption.
