Parking charges to double in Mumbai
In an effort to cut down the number of cars being parked on roads and other unauthorised parking areas- the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is wheeling out a brand new parking policy.
The policy suggests a range of reforms to manage the choking traffic in the city. The ambitious policy has finally recognised that streets are not meant for parking and those who own cars must pay a premium.
