Flydubai Co-Pilot Al-Hammami Studied Engineering For 2 Years In Australia? Probe On

Australia has launched an investigation into reports that FlyDubai co-pilot Hamam al-Hammami spent two years in the country as a student. The 29-year-old Omani allegedly attacked the captain of an Israel-bound flight from Dubai, prompting the UAE to call the incident a terrorist attack. Reports say al-Hammami received an Australian student visa in 2014, arrived in 2015 to study engineering and left in 2017. His visa was cancelled in 2019 after authorities confirmed he was no longer enrolled in his course.
