AI Video Reconstructs What Happened Inside FlyDubai Cockpit During Attack
What happened inside the FlyDubai cockpit during the terrifying attack on Captain Smit Machchhar? An AI-generated video reconstructs the sequence based on the captain’s account, showing how a routine flight changed after co-pilot Hammam al-Hammami said he wanted to pray. Minutes later, Machchhar was attacked from behind and badly injured. With his vision blurred and the aircraft plunging, the captain made one final effort to reach the cockpit door. Passengers then rushed in, overpowered the attacker and helped regain control of the aircraft.
