US President Donald Trump has backed the execution of Nidal Hasan by firing squad, while saying no final decision has been made on whether it will be livestreamed. Vice President JD Vance has also questioned whether the execution will be broadcast publicly, saying he would not watch it. Hasan is scheduled to be executed on December 3 at Fort Hood, Texas, where he killed 13 people in a 2009 shooting. The execution would be the first US military firing squad execution since 1945.
