Gujarat Floods | Over 400 Rescued From Ahmedabad Industrial Park; Heavy Losses Feared
More than 400 people were rescued from the Gallops Industrial Park near Changodar in Ahmedabad district on Saturday after incessant rainfall and water released from upstream areas inundated the industrial zone. The industrial park, which houses several pharmaceutical and multinational companies, was submerged, leaving hundreds of workers stranded. The flooding prompted a massive rescue operation involving the Indian Army, the NDRF, the SDRF, and the district administration, as teams worked to evacuate those trapped inside the industrial complex.
