One person died and two others were injured after a massive explosion rocked the premises of Udala Hospital in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district. The blast occurred when an ambulance caught fire amid a suspected oxygen cylinder leak, triggering panic among patients, attendants and hospital staff. The explosion was so powerful that the ambulance’s roof was flung nearly 40 feet away. Firefighters rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control. Authorities are expected to investigate the incident.
