Manipal in shock after alleged gang-rape of medical student
The alleged gang-rape of a young medical student in the education hub of Manipal in coastal Karnataka had sent shock waves among the community. The state home minister, KJ George, travelled to Manipal to take stock of the investigation and visit the young woman and assure students that the state government was taking the issue very seriously.
