Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has expressed deep anguish over the death of medical student Priyanka, who succumbed to injuries sustained in Rajamahendravaram on August 3. The Chief Minister directed officials to take strict action against those responsible and ordered ₹20 lakh financial assistance for the bereaved family. Naidu described the loss of the young medico as deeply distressing, saying a promising life had been cut short tragically.
