A 30-year-old resident doctor, Dr. Harsh Pandya, was found dead in his hostel room at Surat Civil Hospital, triggering concern among the medical community. Pandya had been pursuing postgraduate studies and had worked in the hospital's Microbiology Department for six months. Police and hospital authorities are investigating the circumstances, including possible work pressure, senior-junior issues and allegations of ragging.
