Trump On Mamdani's Win: 'Lost Bit Of Sovereignty Last Night'

Donald Trump claimed Zohran Mamdani's election victory in New York City meant the country had 'lost a bit of sovereignty' as he addressed the American Business Forum in Miami on Wednesday. "On November 5th, 2024, the American people reclaimed our government. We restored our sovereignty," he began. "We lost a little bit of sovereignty last night in New York but we'll take care of it don't worry about it we rescued our economy regained our liberty and together we saved our country on that magnificent night, 365 days ago," he added.
