After scoring a major victory by getting its landmark food security scheme cleared by the Lok Sabha this week, the government has managed to get the crucial Land Acquisition Bill passed in Lok Sabha today. The legislation, just like the Food Security Bill, is being viewed as a mega vote-getter in the national elections.
