Israel Election Exit Poll: Netanyahu Calls For Right-Wing Govt As Exit Polls Deliver Deadlock

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu emerged as the frontrunner in exit polls, with his Likud Party projected to become the single largest party in parliament. However, the surveys suggest Netanyahu's right-wing bloc remains short of the 61-seat majority needed to form a government on its own, raising the prospect of a hung parliament and weeks of intense coalition negotiations. Despite leading the race, Netanyahu's path back to power remains uncertain. Following the release of the exit polls, the veteran leader reiterated his call for a "strong right-wing government", arguing that Israel needs stable leadership during a period of regional turmoil.
