Jodhpur: Rajasthan Govt Orders High-Level Probe In Mysterious Maternal Deaths

Following NDTV’s investigation into a series of maternal deaths at government hospitals in Rajasthan, the state government has initiated an emergency response. The Health Department has convened a high-level review meeting, ordered a special panel inquiry, and sought hospital-wise reports to determine the causes behind the deaths. Health Minister Gajendra Singh Khimsar is also scheduled to visit affected districts, while officials say every maternal death will be reviewed individually and accountability will be fixed if negligence is established.
