The Madras High Court has reserved its order on a petition challenging the Central Board of Film Certification’s decision to withhold certification, forcing the makers to delay the January 9 release. The producers say the postponement is due to unavoidable circumstances, with the court order expected tomorrow. If clearance is granted, certification could follow within 24 to 72 hours, opening the door for a release only after January 12, missing the crucial Pongal weekend.
